2 Wood Blinds are the Right Size
"These 2 wood blinds still look great!"
2 wood blinds have those fantastic large sections that make a home look so elegant. I’m sure you’ve seen these before; they are usually a nice cedar color and they look just as good closed as they do open. Because of this, people are starting to make sure that they get these special curtains with exactly 2 inch wood slates. Sure, they have different sizes available, such as 1 inch and 1 and a half inches. There is just something special about two, though, which is why people flock to them.
Hunter Douglas and Graber both make premium types, though you can get faux lookalikes of these name brands if you search hard enough. The great thing about this is the fact that they’re usually heavily discounted off the retail price or on sale, and they don’t even look cheap. So if you can hold out for this type of discount, you’ll be doing very well. However, expect to shell out some serious cash if you ant the real deal. The only more expensive option would be to get custom ones made especially for you.
These special types are excellent with kids because they’re made so well. They’re also very easy to clean due to the large surface area. If you’re not convinced about how great they are yet, I don’t know what to tell you. Did I mention that they can be painted white, in Venetian or woven style, made from bamboo, and configured in horizontal and vertical arrangements? They can even be miniature or motorized, if you’re not into manually opening them.
So if you want a nice unique look without having to pay too much, I would advise you look at 2 inch wood style blinds. They can be decorative and elegant, yet still go in any room, from the kitchen to the bathroom. They work well as shades, but they also work well as drapes. They are just one of the best coverings to be put into the modern home.
